01 / Working together

After-hours support around your system.

Your team has established ways to schedule care, manage records and support families. An after-hours connection can build on that foundation: the agency’s schedule remains the source of truth, while HeyHomeCare handles authorized calls and follow-ups.

ShiftCare documents administrator-managed API keys on Premium and Enterprise plans. Access is regional, so the agency’s plan and account region must be confirmed.

For connected agencies, your business rules decide when coverage outreach starts, who is contacted and which actions need approval. Emergencies always go to a person. Each proposed workflow must be confirmed for your connection before it is enabled.

02 / Your setup

A clear path before you begin.

Confirm your ShiftCare plan and region, then review schedule access, caregiver identification and permitted updates with us. Agree a test scope before setting a launch date.

  1. Start with the work
Choose the calls, coverage requests and follow-ups your office wants help with. Identify which records the line would need.
  2. Confirm access and responsibilities
Review vendor permissions, connection availability and the updates your office will continue to make. Agree who approves each action.
  3. Validate before launch
Once a connection is available and authorized, check schedules, contact rules and escalation paths with your agency before enabling the line.

How the after-hours line works
Way two

Run your agency on HeyHomeCare

Your primary home care CRM: scheduling, client management, forms, billing, and invoicing in one workspace. Add agentic capabilities on your terms; every workflow also works with AI off.

04 / Exploring a CRM

Considering a different setup? Take it at your pace.

HeyHomeCare brings scheduling, client management, care plans, forms, caregiver and family tools, billing, invoicing, payroll exports and reporting into one workspace. AI capabilities are optional.

There is no automatic ShiftCare importer. An agency considering HeyHomeCare as its CRM starts with a review of permitted exports, available CSV imports and manual setup, followed by a schedule comparison before any transition.

Your existing system remains your official record until your office has validated the new setup and chosen a transition date. HeyHomeCare owners and admins can export their data as CSV files.
